This year we will be asking people who attend our arena events to make a suggested donation of £3.00 whilst onsite (Children are free).

However if you buy a ticket of any kind we won't expect you to make a donation, unless of course you wish to do so!

Please Note the Following...

Saturday Night and Sunday Night's concerts are standing room only
All other concerts in the main marquee are all unreserved seating.

Camping must be booked in advance as camping tickets will not be available over the weekend itself. Sorry we do not offer tickets for individual nights camping.

Caravans and Camper Vans are welcome at no extra cost.

We have a limited number of camping tickets available for people who wish to camp and only attend the arena events without buying weekend or individual concert tickets. At some point these will no longer be available so we favour people buying concert tickets also.
So if you wish to buy just camping tickets please don't leave it too late to avoid disappointment!

Children under 14 must be accompanied by an adult at all times.

Proof of age must be shown at the festival site for youth tickets or the full ticket price will be charged.

All tickets are strictly non refundable.

No alcohol maybe brought on to the festival site.

Only dogs that assist disabled people are permitted in the festival venues.

The Dent Folk Festival has the right to refuse admission to the festival site.

The festival operates a zero tolerance drugs policy.

In the event of unforeseen circumstances the Dent Folk Festival can give no guarantee that artists named in the programme will perform at the stated time, or perform at all, and has the right to present alternative artists.

Why are ticket prices higher than 2009?

Over the past nine years the festival has received major funding from bodies such as Arts Council England and Cumbria Rural Regeneration on the shared ethos that we would eventually become self sustaining.

Hence this year's festival will no longer receive major subsidies from such public bodies and will be mainly funded from ticket sales, bar takings, sponsorship etc...

This situation coupled with the rising costs of running the festival and improvements to the festival camping means ticket prices have risen for 2010.

We still feel we offer very good value for money and our ticket prices are comparable with other events.
